Track My Order

The gear you want is under everything else.

You stop on the track because you want the compact camera, or the spare batteries, or the keys you buried at the start of the day. All of it is in the bottom of the main compartment under a jacket and a lunch. So the pack comes off, the lid comes open, and half your kit sits in the dirt while you dig.

Then you load it all back in. Next time you want that camera you look at the pack, decide it is not worth it, and leave it there. Gear you cannot get at is gear you did not bring — the same failure as leaving it at home, just heavier.

This is a small nylon pouch that lives on the outside of the pack, on a belt, or hung off a sling strap, so the things you reach for most are the things you can actually reach. It is 130 x 80 x 40 mm on the outside. That makes it a pouch for a compact camera, keys, a small torch, a spare battery or a lighter — not for a modern phone. Read the Limits tab before you order.

What It Does
  • Puts small gear on the outside: the compact camera, the keys and the head torch ride where you can grab them without opening the main compartment.
  • Hangs off what you already wear: a press-stud webbing loop wraps a belt, a pack strap or a row of MOLLE webbing, and a swivel snap hook catches a D-ring or a gear loop.
  • Splits two kinds of kit: a padded, soft-lined main compartment for the camera and a slim front pocket for the flat things you do not want scratching it.
  • Takes a patch or a keeper: a hook-and-loop strip across the front with a webbing keeper over it, for a patch, a name tape or a threaded strap.
  • Stays out of the way: about 100 g empty and roughly the footprint of a small phone, so it does not swing or catch when you move.
Key Features
  • 1000D nylon shell: the denier figure is the supplier’s, printed on their own specification panel and repeated by two other sellers of the same model.
  • External size 130 x 80 x 40 mm: height by width by depth, from the supplier’s dimensioned drawing.
  • Two zipped compartments: a main compartment with twin pulls that open the lid right back, and a separate slim pocket across the front face.
  • Soft brushed lining: the main compartment and the inside of the lid are lined, which is what makes it usable for a camera rather than just a keys pouch.
  • Press-stud webbing loop: on the back panel, so it goes onto a belt or a strap without unthreading the belt.
  • Swivel snap hook: a moulded hook on a short webbing tail for hanging it off a D-ring, a haul loop or a sling.
  • Coil zips with cord pulls: long fabric pull tabs you can work with gloves on.
  • About 100 g empty: supplier stated. Two other sellers of the same model list 78–80 g, so treat it as approximate.
  • Six colourways: Black, Wolf Brown, Desert Digital, ACU Digital, Jungle Digital and Three Camo — pick the one that disappears into your existing kit.
  • Free delivery: to Australia and New Zealand.

Limits

The Size Is The Whole Decision

It will not take a modern phone. The pouch is 130 mm tall on the outside, and the walls are lined, so the cavity is shorter again. Nearly every current phone is 145 to 165 mm tall. It will not go in. The supplier states the fit as a phone with a screen up to about 4.5 inches, which is a phone from the small-handset era, not a current one. If you want a phone pouch, this is the wrong product — look at a purpose-made phone holster instead.

The internal dimensions are not published. Neither the supplier’s specification panel nor any other seller of this model states them, and we are not going to estimate them and call them a specification. What we can tell you is the external size (130 x 80 x 40 mm), that the lining and padding take some of that, and that the supplier’s own photographs show it holding a small point-and-shoot camera with a wrist lanyard. Measure the thing you want to carry against 130 x 80 x 40 mm and leave yourself a margin.

It is not waterproof and we are not going to call it that. The supplier describes a water-resistant coating on the nylon and prints a water-drop icon on the marketing artwork, but no IP rating is published and no test result was sighted. Treat it as showerproof at best. The zips are plain coil zips with no storm flap, and a zip is where water gets in. Do not put a camera in this and swim, wade, or leave it out in a downpour.

There is no PALS ladder on the back. The back panel is flat, with a press-stud webbing loop and a snap hook. It attaches to MOLLE and PALS webbing; it does not weave into it the way a laddered pouch does. That is fine for hanging it on the outside of a pack and it is quicker to fit — but if you specifically need a woven PALS attachment that cannot ride up, this one will not give you that.

No certification, no protection rating. Nothing here is tested or marked to any impact, crush or drop standard, and no certificate was sighted. It is lined nylon, not a hard case. It will keep dust and knocks off a camera in a pack; it will not save one that gets stood on.

It is one small pouch, not a system. No pack, no camera, no bottle holder and no patch are included — the supplier’s photographs show it fitted to larger bags that are sold separately.

Q & A

Will my phone fit?

Almost certainly not. The pouch is 130 mm tall externally and the inside is smaller than that. Current phones run 145 to 165 mm tall. The supplier rates it for a phone with a screen up to about 4.5 inches. If your phone is more than about ten years old and genuinely small, measure it first; otherwise assume no.

Does the camera come with it?

No. The camera in the supplier’s photographs is there to show the scale and what the pouch is shaped for. You are buying an empty pouch.

What is the actual internal size?

Not published, by the supplier or by anyone else selling this model. External is 130 x 80 x 40 mm and the walls are lined, so the usable cavity is meaningfully smaller. We are not prepared to guess a number on a page where the number is the whole buying decision.

How does it attach to a MOLLE pack?

Through a webbing loop on the back that closes with a press stud, plus a swivel snap hook on a short webbing tail. You pass the loop behind a row of PALS webbing or a pack strap and stud it shut, or you clip the hook to a D-ring. There is no woven PALS ladder on the back panel.

Can I keep a camera in it in the rain?

We would not. The nylon has a water-resistant coating but there is no IP rating and the coil zips are not sealed. It handles light spray and dust. Anything more than that and the camera should be in a dry bag.

How long does delivery take?

Allow 10–14 days from the day you order, and up to 3 weeks to regional and remote addresses. Delivery is free to Australia and New Zealand.
