Before you buy

• Electronic training collars are restricted in some Australian states: the law differs by state and territory and it changes. Check where you live before you order one.
• A seatbelt lead is not a crash-tested restraint: it keeps the dog in place and stops it climbing about. That is all it claims to do.
• Size a harness by chest girth: measure right behind the front legs. A collar size will not tell you the harness size.
