Worth Knowing
- Measure your Waist, Not your Trouser Size: belt sizing and trouser sizing are not the same number, and they are rarely close.
- A Load Belt Needs Padding: a thin webbing belt with pouches hung off it digs in within an hour. The padded MOLLE belts are the ones for weight.
- Quick-Release Works Both Ways: it is fast, which is the point. Check it is properly latched before you load it up.
