Flat tyre, no help for 80 km? Air up on the spot.
A tyre never goes down in your driveway. It goes down at the boat ramp at dawn, on the empty stretch between towns, or quietly overnight so you find it ten minutes before you needed to leave. And a soft tyre is not just slow — it runs hot, chews its shoulders off, and at highway speed a hot, underinflated tyre is how blowouts happen.
This one lives in the glovebox. No leads strung across the car, no clamps on the battery — pull it out, screw the hose onto the valve, set your pressure on the digital screen and press start. It shuts itself off when it hits the number.
It is a top-up and get-you-home tool, not a workshop compressor. The Limits tab says exactly where that line sits.
What It Does
- Airs up anywhere: runs on its own battery, so there is nothing to plug into the vehicle — it works the same on the bike rack, the boat trailer or a wheelbarrow in the paddock.
- Stops at your number: set the target pressure, press start, and it cuts out automatically when the tyre gets there.
- Reads metric: the display switches between kPa, bar, PSI and kg/cm² — set it to whatever your tyre placard uses.
- Four modes: car, motorcycle, bicycle and ball settings for quick selection, with + and – to fine-tune the target.
- Lights the job: a built-in LED work light, so a flat on a dark road does not mean holding a phone torch in your teeth.
- Stows its own hose: the short hose loops over the top of the unit, so the whole kit stays in one piece in the glovebox.
Key Features
- Supplier-rated maximum: 150 PSI (about 1,034 kPa) stated maximum pressure — a ceiling figure, not a working pressure.
- Stated motor spec: 70 W at 7.4 V, from the supplier's own parameters panel.
- Twin battery cells: two 2,000 mAh lithium cells — 4,000 mAh on board.
- Stated per-charge capacity: about 2.5 car tyres (195/55R15) on a full charge — the supplier's own figure.
- Three adaptors included: a needle for balls, a tapered nozzle for inflatables and a brass valve adaptor for bicycle valves.
- USB charging: USB-A to USB-C cable in the box — charge it from the same socket as your phone.
- Screw-on connection: the hose threads onto the valve stem, so it does not pop off mid-fill like a press-on chuck.
- Glovebox size: 137 x 89 x 47 mm, with the digital display across the face.
Limits
- No duty cycle published: the supplier states no run-time limit, and small pumps working hard get hot — heat is what kills them. Do one tyre, give it a breather, do the next. Do not run it flat-out back to back.
- Not a 4WD air-up compressor: the supplier's own capacity figure is about 2.5 small car tyres per charge. Bringing four 4WD tyres up from beach pressure is a bigger job than that. It will get you out of trouble; if you air down every weekend, a dedicated compressor is the right tool and this is the glovebox backup.
- No flow rate published: the supplier states no L/min figure, so we will not promise how many minutes your tyre takes. Their artwork shows 3 min 30 s beside a bicycle tyre, with no tyre size or starting pressure attached. Expect minutes, not seconds.
- 150 PSI is a ceiling, not a workload: that is the supplier's stated maximum, the most it can reach — not a pressure it holds all day. Car tyres sit around 210–250 kPa (30–36 PSI), well inside its range.
- Some numbers are simply not stated: weight, charge time, gauge accuracy and noise level are not published by the supplier, so you will not find them in our specs either.
Q & A
Will it suit my 24 volt truck?
The vehicle's electrics do not matter — it never plugs into the vehicle at all. It charges from USB and runs off its own battery, so 12 V, 24 V or a trailer with no electrics are all the same to it. What does matter is volume: full-size truck tyres hold far more air than a pocket pump's battery is good for. Topping up a ute or car tyre is its job; do not plan on filling truck rubber with it.
Can it air my 4WD back up after the beach?
It can top tyres up, but the supplier's own figure is about 2.5 small car tyres per charge — four 4WD tyres up from 110 kPa (16 PSI) is asking more than that. Keep it charged and it will get you off the sand; a dedicated compressor is the right tool if you air down regularly.
How fast does it fill a tyre?
The supplier publishes no flow rate, so we will not invent one. Their artwork shows 3 minutes 30 seconds beside a bicycle tyre, with no starting pressure stated. A car tyre top-up takes minutes, not seconds.
Does it really stop by itself?
Yes — set the target, press start, and it shuts off at the number. The supplier states no accuracy figure for the gauge, so check it against a gauge you trust the first time and you will know exactly where it sits.
What exactly is in the box?
The inflator with its built-in hose, a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, and three adaptors — a needle for balls, a tapered nozzle for inflatables and a brass valve adaptor. That is what the supplier's photos show. There is no carry case or mains charger.
Can I use it while it is charging?
Not stated by the supplier, so assume not. Top the charge up before a big trip rather than counting on it after months untouched in the glovebox.
