A torch, a spare magazine, a multi-tool, a set of keys. The small stuff is what you reach for most, and it is the first thing to disappear into the bottom of a pocket or a pack. Then you are patting yourself down in the dark looking for the one thing you actually need.

The failure here is not the gear breaking. It is not having it on you when you reach — and a torch you cannot find is the same as no torch at all.

This is a single 600D nylon pouch, 140 mm tall, that straps onto a belt or a MOLLE panel and holds one of those things where your hand already goes. The flap folds over the top and closes on hook-and-loop backed by a press stud. There is a slim outside slot for a pen or a similar thin tool, and the base carries an open metal eyelet so grit and water drain out instead of collecting in the bottom.

It is a general-purpose utility pouch, not a fitted holster for any one item. The supplier publishes the outside dimensions only, so measure what you want to put in it against them.

What It Does

• Holds one thing properly: a stitched nylon body measuring 140 x 55 x 40 mm on the outside, sized around a torch or a single magazine.
• Mounts two ways: the strap on the back goes over MOLLE webbing and studs down, or straight over a belt.
• Closes twice over: a hook-and-loop face on the flap, plus a press stud at the tip so the flap does not peel open on its own.
• Keeps a pen to hand: a separate slim sleeve on the outside takes a pen, a marker or a thin tool.
• Drains instead of filling: an open metal eyelet in the base lets water, dust and grit fall out.
• Disappears into your setup: six colourways, so it matches the belt or the pack rather than announcing itself.

Limits

Here is what this pouch will not do.

• We are not calling it waterproof: the supplier's own copy uses that word with no rating behind it, and the base has an open drainage eyelet in it. Water gets in and drains out, which is the point of the eyelet. Nothing goes in here that has to stay dry.
• No load rating: nylon, stitching and a press stud. There is no published load figure, it is not a rated attachment point, and it is not climbing equipment. The old listing offered it for climbing and that has been removed.
• Not a knife sheath: a folding knife is fine. A fixed blade will work its way through nylon, and there is no moulded liner in here to stop it.
• Outside numbers only: 140 x 55 x 40 mm is the external size. The inside is smaller by the thickness of the fabric, and the supplier publishes no internal dimensions.
• Belt width is unstated: the supplier gives no maximum belt width for the back strap. It is shown on a wide leather work belt and on MOLLE webbing.
• Empty pouch only: the torches, pens and magazines in the supplier's photographs show scale. You get one pouch.

Q & A

Will my torch fit?

The supplier publishes the outside size only — 140 mm tall, 55 mm wide, 40 mm deep — and no internal figures. The inside is smaller than that by the thickness of the fabric, though the flap does fold over a little extra height. Measure your torch against 140 mm and be honest about how close it is.

Is it waterproof?

No. The supplier's text says waterproof, there is no rating anywhere behind that word, and the base has an open eyelet so it can drain. Treat it as a nylon pouch that sheds a bit of weather and nothing more.

Does it fit MOLLE webbing, or only a belt?

Both. The strap on the back threads over a row of MOLLE webbing and studs down, and the same strap goes over a plain belt. The supplier does not state a maximum belt width.

Can I use it for climbing or hang it off a harness?

No. Nothing on this pouch carries a load rating, so it is not a rated attachment point and it is not climbing equipment. Keep it on a belt or a vest with something in it you can afford to drop.

Does anything come in it?

No. One empty pouch. No torch, no tool, no pen.
