Under a pack, a plate carrier or a chest rig, a normal shirt turns into a wet towel within the hour. The body is where the heat is trapped, but the shoulders and arms are where you need the pockets and the wear.

A combat shirt splits the two. This one has a light mesh-knit body for the part under your gear, and contrast-fabric shoulders and sleeves with hook-and-loop panels and pockets on the upper arms. A quarter zip at the mock neck lets you open it up when you stop.

It comes in plain black, or black with olive green, grey, camo or black-camo shoulders and sleeves. Sizes run XS to 3XL; the 3XL is 120 cm around the chest on the supplier's chart.

Sizing tops out at 3XL. 120 cm around the chest, about an Australian L on our chart.

XS figures. The listing gives a chest of 99 cm for XS but no length or sleeve figure.

Will it Go Under a Plate Carrier or Pack?

That is what the mesh body is for: the part under your gear breathes, the arms carry the pockets. Fit depends on your gear, so go by the chest figure.

Do Patches Come with it?

No. The hook-and-loop panels on the sleeves take your own patches.

How does the Sleeve Measure?

The supplier's sleeve figures (37 to 42 cm) are longer than a short sleeve looks, so they are probably measured from the collar. We print them as given.
