The panel has magnets in it. That is a fact about how the sleeve is made, and it is the only thing we are going to say about them. BushLine makes no health claim for the magnets — none at all. We have nothing we can stand behind that says a magnet built into a knee sleeve does anything for a person wearing it, so we are not going to say it. What you are buying is compression, grip and an open patella cut-out. The magnets come with it.

How do I pick a size?

On this listing you cannot, and that is worth knowing before you click buy. The supplier makes this in S and L and in one-piece and two-piece packs, but there is only a single option here — no size or pack selector at checkout. The supplier publishes no measurement chart either, and we are not going to invent one.

Will it show under work trousers?

It is 72.8 g and low profile, in beige. Under drill trousers or work pants you will not see it, and it is light enough to leave on for a shift. Under thin summer trousers you will see the outline of the two bands.

Will the magnets stuff up my phone, my tools or my bank cards?

The magnet strength is not specified by the supplier, so we cannot give you a number. General rule with any magnet: keep it away from bank card stripes, hotel keycards and mechanical watches. A phone in a trouser pocket will be fine. The one that actually matters — do not wear this if you have a pacemaker, an implanted defibrillator or any other implanted electronic device.

How do I wash it?

The supplier calls the material washable and reusable, and shows it being rinsed under a running tap. Wipe it with a damp cloth or rinse it and let it dry. There is no machine-wash instruction from the supplier, so we would not put it through a washing machine or a dryer.

Is it left or right specific?

Not specified by supplier. The supplier's images show the two-piece version as a mirrored pair, so a pair covers both knees — but nothing published says whether a single sleeve is handed.

What is it not for?

It is not a knee pad. It will not take the impact of dropping onto a concrete slab or a steel walkway — buy proper kneepads for that and wear this under them if you want.
