A Cotton Polo Stays Wet All Afternoon
Cotton soaks up sweat and holds onto it. By lunchtime the back of the shirt is dark and cold every time the wind blows across it, and it is still damp when you get back in the ute.
This polo is polyester, which the maker sells as quick-drying: it gives the sweat back to the air rather than hanging onto it. It is light, it has a slit pocket on the left sleeve, and it comes in navy, black, green, grey and khaki.
It is cheap and cheerful, and it runs small. The 4XL is 120 cm around the chest on the supplier's chart, about an Australian L on our sizing.

No fabric weight or drying test. Quick-dry is the maker's word for the polyester; no figure backs it.

Is it Really Quick-Dry?
It is polyester, and polyester dries faster than cotton. The maker publishes no drying test, so that is as far as we go.
Which Size?
Measure a polo that fits, flat across the chest, and double it. Pick the size whose chest figure matches or is a little bigger.
Does the Star Patch Come Off?
The supplier describes it as a small tab sewn on the sleeve, on most but not all shirts. It is not a removable badge.
