This is a lace-up hiking boot with the upper coming up above the ankle, a padded collar and tongue, and a rubber outsole with deep, widely spaced lugs. It is the same boot for men and women, in four colours: Black, Grey and Army Green in label 39 to 47, Rose Red in label 36 to 42.

Size by your foot, not by the number you usually buy. The label numbers are Chinese sizes and run small against Australian sizes — label 39 fits a 245 mm foot, which the seller lists as EU 38.5. The full chart is under Specs.

• Water-Resistant, Not Waterproof: the seller lists it as waterproof but gives no test or rating — treat it as water-resistant, not for wading. The side panels are mesh. Dew and a shower are one thing; a creek crossing over the laces is another.
• The Labels Run Small: the numbers on the boot are Chinese sizes. Label 42 fits a 260 mm foot. Order by your usual Australian size and you will most likely get a boot that is too short.
• Glued, Not Stitched: the sole is glued on.
• No Weight or Shaft Height Given: the seller has not published either. We are not going to guess.

Q & A

I Wear a 9 in Australia. What Size do I Order?
Go by millimetres, not by the number. Stand with your heel against a wall and measure to the end of your longest toe, then find that length in the chart under Specs. As general guidance, Australian men’s sizes follow the UK scale, and the chart has a UK column — but the foot length is what decides. Australian women’s sizes do not match these numbers at all, so measure.

What if I am Between Sizes?
Go up a size. The seller’s own note on its chart says it usually picks one size bigger for a foot that is a little wide, and its diagram allows up to 1.5 cm between your foot and the end of the insole. Leave room for a thick hiking sock.

Are they Waterproof?
The seller lists them as waterproof but gives no test or rating, so treat them as water-resistant, not for wading. Wet grass, mud and rain on the track are what they are for. Standing in a creek is not.

Is There a Protective Toe Cap?
No. The seller lists no metal toe cap, and no certification of any kind has been supplied. If your job requires capped boots, this is not it.

Are These Men’s or Women’s?

Heel against a wall, measure to the end of your longest toe in millimetres. Find that length in the second column; the label size beside it is the one to order. When you are between two sizes, go up.

The foot lengths and the EU and UK columns are the seller’s own size chart. The seller’s picture chart calls the label number a "Euro/CN" size, while its size data gives EU sizes that drift away from the label as the sizes go up (label 39 = EU 38.5, label 47 = EU 44.5). The foot lengths agree in both, so go by millimetres.
