Asian sizing. Order two sizes up.

You order your usual size off an overseas site, it lands a fortnight later, and you cannot get your arms through the sleeves. Nobody takes a jumper back because it did not fit the way you assumed it would, so it ends up in the bottom of the cupboard and you are out the money.

That is the one thing actually worth knowing about this hoodie, so it goes first. It is cut to a Chinese chart, not an Australian one. The supplier's own size panel sits in the gallery and says it in plain red type: "This is Asia size, is smaller 2 size than US,EU,UK,AU size." So the Asia L is about an Australian S, and the biggest one we sell — Asia XXXL — is about an Australian XL. Measure your chest with a tape, find the number in the chart under Specs, and order by that. Not by the letter you normally wear.

Once that is sorted, it is a straightforward black pullover hoodie carrying an all-over photographic print — a rattlesnake wound around a stainless semi-automatic pistol, running across the chest and out onto the sleeves. Lined hood, flat white drawcords, no zip. One design, six sizes.

It is a novelty graphic top and nothing more. No rating, no certification, and the supplier states no fibre content anywhere. The Limits tab spells out exactly where that leaves you.

What It Does

• Puts the real chart up: chest, shoulder, sleeve and body length for every size we sell, in centimetres and millimetres, lifted straight off the supplier's own panel rather than guessed at.
• States the offset up front: two sizes below Australian sizing, in the supplier's own words, repeated here so it cannot be missed at the dropdown.
• Covers the whole garment: this is not a badge on the chest. The image runs front, back and down both sleeves as one continuous print.
• Pulls on and stays on: plain hooded pullover with a lined hood and flat drawcords — a cold morning at camp, the drive in, knocking about the shed.
• Works off one chart: unisex cut, so somebody after a loose fit and somebody after a close fit both size from the same numbers.

Limits

Short version: it is a printed jumper. Here is everything it is not.

• Not work gear: no hi-vis, no flame resistance, no cut resistance, no standard printed on it and none claimed here. It is not site clothing.
• Fibre content is not stated: nobody has said what it is made of, so nobody can tell you how it behaves near heat. Keep it well away from welding, grinding, campfires and any hot-work area until you know.
• Not waterproof, not windproof: a hooded sweatshirt is a mid-layer. It will wet out in rain and it will not stop wind.
• The print includes a firearm: a pistol is a large part of the artwork. That will not be welcome at every workplace, school gate or airport queue, and it is worth a thought before you pick a size.
• No wash or shrink data: the supplier publishes no care instructions and no wash testing, so how the print and the fit hold up over time is unknown.
• Sizes are hand-measured: the chart is a guide with 2–3 cm (20–30 mm) of slop in it, by the supplier's own admission. If you are on the line between two sizes, take the larger.
• Wrong size is not a fault: returns cover a faulty or not-as-described item. Ordering the letter you wear at home instead of reading the chart is neither, so read the chart.

Q & A

I take an Australian large. Which one do I order?

Asia XXL. The supplier's chart lines Asia XXL up with a US L, and the same panel says the Asian cut runs two sizes below US, EU, UK and AU. That size measures 116 cm (1160 mm) at the chest and 72 cm (720 mm) in body length. Put a tape around the fullest part of your chest and check it against the table under Specs.

What is it actually made of?

Not specified by supplier. There is no composition figure, no fabric weight and no photograph of a care label anywhere in the supplier's material. We are not going to put a number on a fabric nobody has stated, so the spec table says so plainly.

Is the print raised, like a real 3D texture?

No. The 3D in the name is seller shorthand for a photographic image that covers the whole garment and wraps the sleeves, so it reads as depth. Run your hand over it and it is flat cloth.

Has it got a kangaroo pocket on the front?

Not specified by supplier. The single product photograph shows the print running unbroken across the front with no pocket opening visible, but the supplier does not state it either way and there is no second angle to check against.

Is the fit the same for a woman?

It is sold as one unisex cut with one chart, so the numbers are the numbers. Anyone after an oversized look simply sizes up from the chest measurement, which on this garment already means picking a letter well above what you would normally buy.

How long until it turns up?

Ten to fourteen days from the day you place the order, and allow up to three weeks. Regional and remote addresses run longer again. Delivery is free to Australia and New Zealand.

Straight off the supplier's panel. The second column is ours: the supplier lists a US equivalent for each size, and its own header names AU alongside US, EU and UK as being two sizes larger.

The supplier labels the third column Chest and does not say whether it is measured flat or all the way around. At 100 cm on the smallest size it can only be the full circumference, so measure yourself the same way. Shoulder, sleeve and body length are single measurements taken as shown in the diagram in the gallery.
