Camping Cookware Set: Pot, Pan & Kettle, or 2 & 3 Person Kits

Cooking for Two Out of One Old Billy?

The billy boils the tea, then cooks the dinner, then washes up, and nothing waits its turn. The plates are paper and blow into the fire. And the whole lot rattles in the back of the car all the way home.

This is an aluminium cook set with folding handles: a pot with lid, a frying pan and an 800 ml kettle with orange handle grips. Pick it on its own, or as a 2 or 3 Person Kit that adds stainless steel plates, steel cups, folding cutlery and a carabiner. The pot is about 17.5 cm across and the pan 18 cm, and the maker lists the pot and lid at 300 g, the pan at 160 g and the kettle at 160 g.

What it Does

• Tea & Tucker at the Same Time: the kettle boils while the pot does the dinner.
• A Proper Fry-Up at Camp: eggs and snags in the pan, the pot for the beans.
• Sets the Table for the Family: the 2 and 3 Person Kits bring real plates, cups and cutlery, so no more paper plates in the wind.
• Packs Small: the handles fold flat, and the maker's weights for the three pieces add up to 620 g, so it suits an overnight hike as well as the car.

Key Features

• Aluminium with Non-Stick Inside: the supplier lists an oxidised hard aluminium body with a non-stick inner surface.
• Folding Handles with Grips: the plastic grips stay cooler than the metal, by the supplier's description.
• 800 ml Kettle: with a narrow spout for pouring.
• Three Ways to Buy: Pot, Pan & Kettle on its own, or the 2 Person Kit or 3 Person Kit.

Limits

No Stove Included. It's cookware only. Use your own gas burner or a grill over the coals.

Keep the Grips Out of the Flames. The handle grips are plastic. Cook over a burner or on a grill, never in the fire itself.

Not for Induction. Aluminium won't work on an induction cooktop.

Look After the Non-Stick. Use wooden or plastic utensils. The supplier doesn't name the coating.

Check the Photo for your Kit. The supplier packs each kit exactly as its photo shows. The 2 Person Kit's cups have no published size.
