Tactical Daypack - Laser-Cut MOLLE, 5 Colourways

A daypack built to be rigged, not just carried.

Most cheap daypacks fail the same way. The straps dig in an hour up the track, the zips let go under load, and there is nowhere to clip the gear you reach for all day — so it ends up buried in the main compartment. Gear you cannot reach is gear you do not have.

This one is cut the way current tactical packs are cut: laser-cut MOLLE slots across the front pocket and both side panels instead of rows of loose webbing. Rig a first-aid pouch, a torch or a dump pouch where your hand lands, and the panels stay flat and snag-free when they are empty. Sewn webbing rows across the lid and a velcro patch field handle the small stuff.

Straight up on size: our old listing called this pack 35 litres, and that number does not survive arithmetic. The supplier's own dimension panel reads 320 × 460 × 200 mm — a square-sided box of that size holds 29.4 litres, so 35 litres is impossible. Real packable volume sits below the box figure; treat this as a mid-20s-litre daypack. Day walks, the ute, site kit, carry-on — not a multi-day hauler.

What It Does

• Keeps gear reachable: laser-cut slots on the front and sides take standard MOLLE straps, so the kit you use hourly rides outside instead of at the bottom of the bag.
• Carries three ways: padded backpack harness, single-shoulder sling or the reinforced grab handle — the supplier lists all three carry modes on its spec panel.
• Sorts the small stuff: the front pocket opens to admin slots, a zip mesh pocket and a phone sleeve, so keys and cards stop living loose in the main compartment.
• Rides cooler: air-mesh back panel and padded straps with a sternum buckle keep the load steady and let some air move on a warm walk.
• Blends into your kit: black, grey, khaki, CP camouflage or black multicam, so it matches the rest of the setup instead of announcing it.

Limits

Every pack has them. Here are this one's, straight.

• Water resistant, not waterproof: the supplier states water-repellent nylon and nothing more. No taped seams, no sealed zips, no storm flaps, no IP or water rating anywhere on its panel. It will shrug off a shower; do not dunk it, and dry-bag anything electronic.
• Not 35 litres: the supplier's dimensions multiply out to a 29.4 litre solid box — the most the shape could hold if it had square corners — so the 35 litre figure in our old title was impossible and we have retired it.
• No fabric weight published: our old listing called the fabric 1000D. That figure appears nowhere on the supplier's own spec panel, which states only water-repellent nylon, so we do not publish a denier for this pack.
• No padded hip belt: there is a sternum strap, but the load rides on your shoulders. Fine at daypack weights; the wrong tool for heavy multi-day loads.
• No hydration port sighted: nothing in the supplier's photos shows a bladder sleeve or hose exit, so do not buy it around one.
• No certification: it is a daypack, not rated load gear. No standard is claimed, and a camouflage colourway is a pattern, not a military endorsement.

Q & A

Is it really 35 litres?

No. The supplier's dimension panel reads 320 × 460 × 200 mm, which multiplies out to 29.4 litres as a square-sided box — and that is the theoretical ceiling, not the usable volume. Call it a mid-20s-litre daypack and size your kit to that.

Will my MOLLE pouches fit?

The front pocket and both sides carry laser-cut slot rows cut for standard MOLLE straps, and the lid carries sewn, bar-tacked webbing. Standard pouches weave on; unusually wide or stiff straps are harder to feed through laser-cut slots than through open webbing.

Is it waterproof?

No. Water-repellent nylon sheds light rain, but there are no taped seams, no storm flaps over the zips and no stated rating, so sustained rain will eventually get in. Dry-bag your phone and spare socks like you would in any daypack.

What are the CP and black mix colours?

CP is a multicam-style camouflage in browns and greens. Black mix is the same pattern family in black and grey. The photos on this page show both.
