Track My Order

Carry the essentials and your drink, hands free.

You head out for a few hours with your phone, your wallet, your keys and a bottle of water. The phone and the wallet go in your pockets. The bottle goes in your hand, because there is nowhere else for it.

Then you put the bottle down to open a gate, bait a hook or take a photo, and you walk off without it. An hour later you are back at the ute rationing whatever is left in the console, and the afternoon you planned gets cut short. The gear did not break. It just was not on you.

This is a small waist pack that takes the lot. A zipped main compartment for the phone, wallet, torch and multi-tool, two buckled pockets on the front for the bits you grab often, and a bottle sleeve that unclips when you do not want it. It rides on its own webbing belt with a side-release buckle.

It is a bum bag, not a day pack. The main pouch measures 145 x 170 x 55 mm, so it carries a day’s essentials and stops there.

What It Does
  • Keeps a drink on you: the bottle sleeve rides on the belt instead of in your hand, so there is nothing to set down and leave behind.
  • Splits into two parts: the bottle sleeve unclips from the pouch and wraps onto a belt on its own with a hook-and-loop strap.
  • Sorts the small gear: two buckled front pockets keep the things you reach for away from the things you do not.
  • Wears low and close: a flat back panel and a 55 mm depth keep it against your hip rather than swinging off it.
  • Brings its own belt: you do not need to already own a webbing belt, because one is included.
Key Features
  • Zipped main compartment, lined, with one internal zip pocket
  • Two flap-over front pockets, each closed by its own plastic side-release buckle
  • Detachable bottle sleeve, 70 mm across and 175 mm deep, with a drawcord top so a taller bottle can stand proud of the rim
  • Bottle sleeve carries a hook-and-loop wrap strap and a small side-release buckle
  • Webbing waist belt with a side-release buckle and a slide adjuster
  • Main pouch 145 x 170 x 55 mm external; front pockets 60 mm wide and 23 mm deep
  • 900D fabric – the supplier’s stated figure, not measured by us
  • Seven colourways, from plain black and coyote tan through to four camouflage patterns
  • Plain back panel with a belt sleeve – there is no PALS webbing on this pack

Limits

It is not a MOLLE pouch, despite the name. The back of this pack is a plain fabric panel with a sleeve for the belt to pass through. There is no PALS ladder webbing on the back and none on the front – the two short loops under each front buckle are keepers for the loose strap tail, nothing more. You cannot hang a MOLLE pouch off it, and you cannot mount it to a plate carrier or a PALS panel. If that is what you came for, this is not the pack.

The bottle sleeve goes on a worn belt; the pouch does not. The sleeve wraps around a belt with a hook-and-loop strap, so it goes on and off a belt you are already wearing. The main pouch threads onto a belt through a closed sleeve, so to put it on your own trouser belt you have to take that belt off and thread it through. Most people will just wear the belt it comes with.

We are not calling it waterproof. The supplier’s artwork shows water beading on the fabric, but no water-resistance rating is published anywhere and none is printed on the pack. Treat it as shower-resistant at most. In steady rain, assume what is inside gets wet.

We will not state the fibre. The supplier’s own panel says 100% cotton canvas and prints 900D beside a close-up of what is plainly a synthetic basketweave, and the listing we inherited said nylon. Those cannot all be right, so the material row is left unspecified rather than us picking one. The same panel is headed high quality metal while every buckle in the photographs is plastic, which is worth knowing before you weigh anything else it says.

It is small. 145 x 170 x 55 mm in the main pouch. A phone, a wallet, a folding torch, a multi-tool and a power bank is about the load – the supplier’s own photograph shows exactly that, with not much room spare. No jumper, no lunch, no laptop.

No bottle is included. The sleeve is soft fabric with an open drawcord top. It is not insulated and it is not rigid, so it will not keep a drink cold and it will not protect a glass bottle from a knock.

Q & A

Will this attach to my plate carrier, backpack or MOLLE panel?

No. There is no PALS webbing anywhere on it. It is a belt-worn pack and that is the only way it mounts. The word Molle in the product name is not supported by anything we can see on the item itself.

Can I put it on the belt I am already wearing?

The bottle sleeve, yes – it wraps on with a hook-and-loop strap and no unthreading. The main pouch, no – the belt passes through a closed sleeve on the back, so your belt has to come off and go through it. The pack comes with its own webbing belt, which is how most people will wear it.

Will my water bottle fit the sleeve?

Measure it first. The sleeve is 70 mm across and 175 mm deep with a drawcord top, and the supplier’s photographs show a bottle standing well proud of the rim, so height is far more forgiving than width. If your bottle is wider than 70 mm it will not go in.

How much does it actually hold?

The supplier publishes no litre figure, and we are not going to work one out from the outside measurements because that would overstate it. The main pouch is 145 x 170 x 55 mm on the outside. The supplier’s photographs show a wallet, a folding torch, a power bank and a phone in it together.

Is the MUD colour a camouflage pattern?

No. MUD is a plain solid coyote tan with no pattern on it, and BLACK is solid as well. The patterned options are CP, ACU, DESERT and JD, and SAND is a three-colour desert camouflage rather than a plain sand colour. Check the swatch image before you choose.

How long will it take to arrive?

Allow 10 to 14 days from the day you order, and up to three weeks to regional and remote addresses. Delivery is free to Australia and New Zealand.
