Nobody in the tent is getting any sleep, including you.
Snoring is one of those things you are always the last to find out about. Someone finally says something after a swag trip or a night in a donga, and then you are the bloke everyone swaps rooms to avoid.
This is a nose clip. A small clear silicone clip, roughly coin sized, that goes in the nose and closes on the septum - the wall of tissue between your nostrils - which is what holds it there while you sleep. No batteries, no straps, no tape across your face. Rinse it, put it back in its little case, use it again.
That is the whole mechanism: a soft clip that holds a position in your nose. Whether that changes anything for you depends on where your snoring is actually coming from, and nobody can tell you that from here. Read the Limits tab before you buy. It is the honest part of this page.
What It Does
- Lives in the crib bag: every clip comes in its own hinged case about the size of a coin, so it goes in a shirt pocket or the toilet bag and does not get squashed.
- Nothing to charge: no batteries, no app, no power. On a swag trip, in a donga or three days out from anywhere, that is the difference between having it and not.
- Nothing across your face: no chin strap, no head band, no tape over the nose or mouth. If you sleep on your side there is nothing pressing into the pillow.
- Rinse and use it again: clean water, dry it, back in the case. No consumables, no refills, nothing to run out of at two in the morning.
- Buy spares, not one: packs of two, four or ten, so there is one in the swag, one in the ute and one at home instead of hunting for the only one you own.
Key Features
- One piece silicone: soft, clear, moulded in one piece. Nothing to come apart in your nose.
- Open frame, not a plug: the middle of the clip is open, so it is a frame that sits in the nostrils rather than something that fills them.
- Two rounded knobs: the knobs face each other and close on the septum. That is what stops it falling out.
- One size only: no sizes to pick and no adjustment. Whether it suits your nose is something you find out by putting it in.
- A case for every clip: each clip ships in its own clear hinged case, not loose in a bag.
- Pack of two, four or ten: pick the pack at checkout. The supplier has labelled that option list "Color" and it is not a colour, it is the pack size. Every clip is clear.
- Nothing electronic: no battery, no charging port, no wear parts, nothing to fail.
- Washable and reusable: rinse in clean water after each use.

Limits
It will not treat sleep apnoea, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. If you stop breathing during the night, wake up gasping, or you are wrecked all day no matter how long you were in bed, go and see a doctor and get a proper sleep study done. Sleep apnoea is a serious condition and it is managed with equipment a doctor prescribes. Using a silicone clip instead of getting that sorted is a genuinely bad trade.
A nose clip only does anything if your snoring is coming from your nose. Plenty of snoring comes from the throat and the soft palate instead. If that is you, this will do nothing at all, and there is no way to know which one you are without trying it. Go in with your eyes open.
It is not a medical device and we do not sell it as one. Nothing on this page claims it treats, cures, prevents or manages snoring, sleep apnoea, a deviated septum, hay fever, a head cold or a blocked nose. It is a silicone clip. It holds a position. That is the end of the claim.
It is not magnetic. Plenty of clips that look like this one are sold as magnetic. In the supplier's own photographs the two knobs on this clip are clear moulded silicone, not metal magnets, and the supplier does not state that there is a magnet in it anywhere. If a magnetic one is what you are after, this is not it.
No English instructions come with it. There is nothing printed on the packaging in the supplier's photographs beyond the product name, and no fitting diagram. If it does not sit comfortably the moment you put it in, take it out.
Stop using it if it hurts. Any soreness inside the nose, any bleeding, or you keep waking up with it out on the pillow - stop. Do not force it, and do not sleep with it in if it is uncomfortable.
Keep it away from kids. It is a small object that goes in the nose. It is not for children and it should not be left where a small child can get hold of it.
One clip, one person. Do not share a clip between people. There is more than one in every pack for a reason.
Q & A
How many clips do I actually get?
Two, four or ten, depending on the pack you pick, and each one comes in its own small hinged case. The supplier labelled that option list "Color" - ignore that, it is the pack size. Every clip is clear.
Will it stop me snoring?
We are not going to guess that for you. It is a clip that holds a position in the nose, and that is the whole of it. A lot of snoring comes from the throat and the soft palate, and a clip in the nose does nothing about that. It is not a treatment and it is not sold as one.
Is it magnetic?
No. The two knobs are clear silicone in every photograph the supplier provides, and no magnet is specified anywhere. Assume there is no magnet in it.
I am on a CPAP machine. Can I use this instead?
That is a question for the doctor who prescribed it, not for us. Do not swap a prescribed device for a silicone clip.
How do I clean it?
Rinse it in clean water after use, let it dry, put it back in its case. The supplier specifies nothing beyond that - no boiling temperature, no cleaning solution, no replacement interval.
What size is it and will it fit me?
The supplier does not publish a measurement, so we are not going to make one up. It is one size, there is no adjustment, and noses are not all the same. If it does not fit, it does not fit.
How long does delivery take?
Free standard shipping to Australia and New Zealand. Allow 10 to 14 days from the day you order, not from the day it ships, and up to three weeks. Regional and remote addresses take longer again.
Can I send it back if it does not suit me?
Returns cover faulty or not-as-described items only. There is no change-of-mind or money-back policy, and we would not take a used nose clip back in any case. If you are unsure, start with the two pack.
